The Brimful Book: A Collection of Mother Goose Rhymes, Animal Stories, and ABCs, 1939.

The Brimful Book is a collection of Mother Goose Rhymes, animal stories, and ABCs edited by Watty Piper and illustrated by Eul Alice, C.M. Bird, and G. & D. Housman.    This book was published by The Platt & Munk Co., Inc. and is an 18th edition.  It has a library-style binding with an inscription page that says it was presented to Douglas Maim, age 4, of Brooklyn.  The cover shows wear and some of the pages, which are printed on thicker, cardstock-like paper, have light staining from dirty fingers.  The illustrations are fantastic.  Overall, I describe it as being in good condition.  It measures 10” x 12.25” and contains around 75 pages.
