The 1838 Works of Scottish Poet Thomas Campbell

The Poetical Works of Thomas Campbell is a gem of a nearly 200-year-old book published by Edward Moxon in London in 1837.  It features a burgundy full leather cover and spine with gold embossed design.  The pages are thick and luxurious with gilded edges.  You’ll find beautiful etchings throughout.

This book measures 5.5” x 8” and is 1.5” thick.  It contains 306 pages.  It is in very good condition, especially considering its age.  Inside the front cover, you’ll find the hinge is slightly exposed.  The pages have yellowed slightly and show some age spots.
