Set of 2 Slipcovered Volair Limited Editions of John James Audubon’s Classics - 1977

This is a set of two of John James Audubon’s classic works in a slipcovered case.  This set was published by Volair Ltd. In Kent, OH in 1977 and is a limited edition.  You’ll find a stamp inside showing that this set is number 1,412 of 5,000 published.  The covers are faux leather with a gilt design.  The page edges are gilted.  Each book is in like-new condition with no blemishes.  The books contain ribbon bookmarks.  The famous Audubon color illustrations are absolutely gorgeous in this edition.  An introduction was written by Roger Tory Peterson.  Each book measures 6.75” x 10.5”.  This would make an excellent Christmas gift!
