A beautiful, large 1996 Taschen edition of Provence Interiors by Lisa Lovatt-Smith, edited by Angelika Muthesius. This substantial hardcover explores the distinctive interiors and architecture of Provence through an extensive collection of photographs, with homes ranging from elegant private apartments to working rural properties. The book looks at the many ways Provençal style appears in real homes, from traditional farmhouses and country houses to more personal and eclectic interiors.

The featured homes belong to a fascinating range of people, including a duchess, a beekeeper, an art collector, and a sculptor, with the residences of personalities including Christine Picasso and Ewa Truffaut.
