This is a bound copy from the Mr. Punch comic collection.  The original book was re-bound for a library collection, likely belonging to a wealthy individual or organization.  The idea was to make the book match others in the library.  The original cover has been pasted inside the new binding.

The book, measuring 10” x 12.25”, contains 284 pages of comics depicting the lives of people in the mid-Victorian era.  It is appropriate for display, decor, and a good laugh!  The book is in great condition.
