This is a set of four Motor Boys books by Clarence Young from the very early 1900s.  The Motor Boys is a series containing 22 titles in total, published in NY by Cupples & Leon Co.  These four books show a lot of patina, but I think they’re fabulous!  I imagine them as decor in a boy’s room, or part of your costal cottage or camp decor.  Each book is in fair condition with wear to the covers, but all titles are still completely readable.  The books measure 5.25” x 7.5” and contains around 250 pages each with one illustration opposite the title page.

Titles include:

The Motor Boys on the Pacific (or The Young Derelict Hunters), 1909.

The Motor Boys Afloat (or The Stirring Cruise of the Dartaway), 1908.

The Motor Boys on the Atlantic (or The Mystery of the Lighthouse), 1908.

The Motor Boys in Strange Waters (or Lost in a Floating Forest), 1909.
