This is a set of 11 books from the Landmark Books series.  The Landmark Books series is one of the most beloved and collectible nonfiction children’s book series of the 20th century — especially known for making history and biography exciting for young readers.  The books were written for middle-grade to early-teen readers between 1950 and 1970 and contain illustration and photographs.  The set was published by Random House in NY.  The books in this set vary in condition from good to great.  A few of the titles have staining on their covers, but the interior pages are in great, readable condition.  This would be an excellent set for decor in a home library or children’s room.  The books measure 5.75” x 8.5” and contain around 200 pages.

Clipper Ship Days by John Jennings, 1952.

The First Transatlantic Cable by Adele Gutman Nathan, 1959.
